But the Prophet Who Transgresses...That Prophet Shall Die
The Book of Deuteronomy, verse 18, talks about the prophet of the end of time. In this intervention, I will try to focus on the paragraph that talks about the fate of the false prophet in his saying:
20 : But the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.
That is, he will be killed or die before completing his mission!!!
Let us see the fate of some prophets and the fate of the charlatans who claim to be prophets of the end of time:
1: John, peace be upon him, or what is known as John the Baptist in the Bible. This prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was actually killed by the unjust ruler, but does this prophecy include him?
The answer is: No! This is because he did not claim to be the awaited prophet, but rather he was waiting for his coming, and his last words that we find in the Bible are his saying to Jesus, peace be upon him:
Matthew 11:
“Are you the one who is to come, or should we await another?”
2: Jesus, peace be upon him: According to the Christians who claim that this prophecy is about him, he is a false prophet because he was killed at the end of his time, and therefore they have no choice but to accept the Islamic narrative, which is that he was raised up and not killed, but he is also not the prophet of the end of time according to the last narrative because he did not complete his message and will return at the end of time to complete it.
3: The Messenger of God, Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, completed his message in the most perfect form, and the last thing that was revealed to him was:
“This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have approved for you Islam as your religion.”
He died in his bed in the arms of his dearest wife, our mother Aisha, may God be pleased with her, a death that history has not witnessed more wonderful than it!
Therefore, he is a true prophet and not a liar, may my father and mother be sacrificed for him.
3: Musaylimah the Liar: He claimed to be a prophet and was killed in the worst way in the Battle of Yamamah, therefore he is a lying prophet!!
5: Al-Aswad Al-Anzi: He was killed in his castle and the one who helped kill him was the closest person to him, his wife, may Allah be pleased with her!!
Here I have a simple pause in which I would like to compare this case with the case of our Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, with his wife, the Mother of the Believers, Safiyyah bint Huyayy, may Allah be pleased with her, whose father and husband were killed in the Battle of Khaybar and then he married her Wasn’t she, may Allah be pleased with her, able to avenge the death of her husband and father at any moment but she did not do so? What prevented her?!! Isn’t this sufficient evidence of the truth of his prophecy, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him?
6: In our time, we find charlatans whose fate was destruction and a terrible death, an example of which is the leader of the Qadianis: Ahmad Qadiani, who died in the toilet immediately after the Mubahala that brought him together with the Muslims!! A lying prophet!
7: The Bab, the leader of the Baha’is who lived half his life in prison and was then killed in his last days If he was truly a prophet, God would have rushed to the aid of his messenger and he would not have remained imprisoned for such a long time and then been killed in the end
8: Rashad Khalifa, the leader of the Quranists who was killed by his closest aides and is therefore a lying charlatan who claims to be a prophet!!!
Question:
Do you know anyone who claimed to be a prophet and whose fate was not as bad as the charlatans you mentioned?!
