Christianity Allows Beating Women
Disciplining a wife by beating is permissible in church law. The theologian (Yuhanna bin Abi Zakaria bin Saba’) stated that one of the conditions of a priest is that he be the husband of one wife and that his hand not be quick to strike…which indicates that beating is permissible because the denunciation is for unjustified and unbalanced beating, not for beating in general.

What is the ruling on a woman who cheats on her husband according to the church laws that have been in effect for centuries?
If a married woman commits adultery with her slave, she is to be beaten, her hair is to be shaved, her nose is to be cut off, she is to be banished from the city in which she lives, and she is to be deprived of all her blessings… If a woman without a husband has intercourse with her slave and she has no children, she is to be beaten and her hair is to be shaved.

This is what Anba Gregorius decided in his encyclopedia: where he mentioned that if the woman is rebellious and disobedient, then the husband is permitted to discipline her by beating her as he disciplines his son or daughter until he returns her to his authority and sovereignty!

(Canon law permitted men to beat their wives with a stick, provided that it was no thicker than a finger)
The Lord of the Church finds no shame in flogging every Christian man and woman ! We read from between the covers of the book: Hebrews, Chapter 12, Verses 6, 7, 8, 5 - “And you have forgotten the exhortation that speaks to you as to sons: ’ My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord , nor faint when you are rebuked by Him.’ - For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He accepts.” If you endure discipline, God treats you as sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline?” - But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are baboons and not sons. From the accompanying interpretation, we read by the interpreter, Father Antonius Fikry, who speaks with guidance, inspiration and direction from the Holy Spirit of the Christians:
It is known that discipline is for good , but it is the way we accept discipline that determines the effect of discipline on us.
Our willingness to be disciplined, in itself, turns pain into a beneficial lesson.
