Sahih Al-Bukhari 903

On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would go out on the day of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha to the prayer place. The first thing he would do was pray. Then he would turn away and stand facing the people while the people were sitting in their rows. He would preach to them, advise them and command them. If he wanted to send off an expedition, he would send it off, or if he wanted to order something, he would order it to be done, then he would turn away. Abu Saeed said: The people continued to do this until I went out with Marwan, who was the governor of Medina, on Eid Al-Adha or Eid Al-Fitr. When we came to the prayer place, there was a pulpit that Katheer bin Al-Salt had built. Marwan wanted to climb it before praying, so I pulled on his garment and he pulled me back. He rose and delivered the sermon before the prayer. I said to him: By Allah, you have changed. Abu Saeed said: What you know has gone away. I said: By Allah, what I know is better than what I do not know. He said: The people did not sit for us after the prayer, so I made it before the prayer.

1 - The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) would go out on the day of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha to the prayer place, and the first thing he would do was pray, then he would turn away and stand facing the people, while the people were sitting in their rows, and he would preach to them, advise them and command them. If he wanted to complete an expedition, he would complete it, or order something, he would order it, then he would turn away. Abu Saeed said: The people continued to do this until I went out with Marwan, who was the governor of Madinah, on Eid al-Adha or Eid al-Fitr. When we came to the prayer place, there was a pulpit built by Katheer bin al-Salt, and Marwan wanted to climb it before praying , so I pulled on his garment, but he pulled me back. He rose and delivered the sermon before the prayer, so I said to him: By Allah, you have changed. He said: Abu Saeed, what you know has gone away. I said: By Allah, what I know is better than what I do not know. He said: The people did not sit for us after the prayer, so I made it before the prayer.

st: I cannot hide that the most ridiculous suspicion is this suspicion , not because attacking its owner is wrong, and not because its source originally belongs to the most religious people in the world who change their religion, alter it and distort it, so that they can prove in the translations of their book what they want and cancel what they do not want, and not because the incident is a lie, but because citing it here is conclusive evidence that the forger is completely ignorant of our history, and not only that, but he transmits without researching and verifying before presenting what he claims is his suspicion… making himself a laughingstock and appearing as an ignorant person who only wants to present suspicions without thinking and researching in advance… so that I will not be surprised after that if Hitler or Kemal Ataturk are considered among the companions who distorted Islam after the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, as he considers Marwan ibn al-Hakam among the companions whose father the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, cursed while he was still in his loins, until the Mother of the Believers Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: Among the ways mentioned by Ibn Abi Khathima: that she said to Marwan ibn al-Hakam, when he said: To her brother Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr, when he refused to pledge allegiance to Yazid ibn Muawiyah as crown prince, he said, and the story is well-known: As for you, Marwan, I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, cursed your father, and you are in his loins. Asad al-Ghabah, vol. 1, 273.

That is why the Muslims called him Ibn al-Tarid because his father, al-Hakam, was expelled by the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, from Medina. Second: Regardless of the opinion about Marwan, he is a man from among the Muslims who took charge of them, so he changed and was denounced by the companion of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, Abu Saeed al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, so Marwan did not listen to the words of the companion, so where is the distortion of the companions???? Third: Muslims to this day still follow the Sunnah of the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in presenting the Eid al-Fitr and Duha prayers before the sermon, which proves that what Marwan ibn al-Hakam uttered was the same as nothing, and that the Sunnah has not and will not change. Fourth: Praise be to Allah for the blessing of understanding and knowledge, and praise be to Allah for the blessing of Islam, and that is enough of a blessing
