Is There a Relationship Between the Death of Waraqa and the Cessation of Revelation
The enemies of Islam are all irreligious and crusaders. Their houses are made of glass, even paper. Their beliefs are based on falsehood, following whims, and worshipping Satan. However, they are united against the great Islam in inventing doubts and illusions. These people have invented an illusion from their minds that attempts to link the death of Waraqa with the revelation and its decline. The truth is that the cessation of revelation was logical, as revelation had to be gradual because it is something beyond reason. As for the issue of Waraqa’s death, whoever reviews the man’s words in the two Sahihs will easily discover that he felt the approach of death, so it is logical that he would die, and as we have proven the length of the period of revelation and its gradualness, it is not unlikely that the man died during it, and God Almighty is higher and more knowledgeable. But I have a note here to record in this matter, which is that the correct narration, which is in the two Sahihs, on the authority of Yunus on the authority of al-Zuhri, is that the cessation of revelation continued until the Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, was sad, and we have proven, by God Almighty’s permission, in advance, the invalidity of both the story of the Prophet’s suicide and the short period of the famous cessation of revelation, as the correct one is the cessation of revelation, which was not a cessation of the angel, but rather an absence of the Qur’anic revelation until the Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, longed for him: ” Then Waraqa did not die, and the revelation lapsed for a period, until the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, was sad
There is another point, which is that the Qur’anic verses that were revealed Waraqa ibn Nawfal was a contemporary of her, and even after his death for a considerable period, she had no relation to Waraqa ibn Nawfal’s religious knowledge, nor to the news or legislation of the People of the Book. This negates the suspicion of plagiarism. Waraqa ibn Nawfal’s most important knowledge was the news and laws of the Torah and the Gospel. This was not mentioned in the Holy Quran at all in the very early period of the mission. Rather, the short, miraculous verses of the Holy Quran spoke clearly about the pure belief in monotheism and the call to abandon idols and statues (while the Christians sanctify images and statues). This is the belief that Waraqa ibn Nawfal did not know because he was influenced by the falsehoods and polytheism of the People of the Book, as I mentioned and, God willing, Jallalaa proved in the first and second chapters about the belief of the Arab Christians. The problem is that some people associate Waraqa with revelation, and they do not understand the truth. Revelation had stages: The first stage was the beginning of revelation, in which the Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, was encouraged to embrace the customs of the monotheists three years before the prophethood, in which the stones and trees greeted him
And he saw the true vision. Indeed, I say that the signs of the prophethood of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, were apparent since he was a young boy, as proven in the Sahih of Abu Talib’s seeking rain through him while he was a young boy, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace. [38] Rather, it is proven by another narration that the first to be pleased with his prophethood, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, was his grandfather’s sister, Ruqayqah bint Abi Saifi, and she informed his grandfather Abdul Muttalib that he also sought rain through him. [39] Rather, his prophethood was proven before that, since his youth, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, when the angels split his chest open. [ 40] Rather, since his birth, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, when his mother saw a light illuminating the palaces of the Levant and she informed him of that. [41] And his grandfather Abdul Muttalib was also pleased with a great future for him. [42]All these references to prophethood preceded Waraqa bin Nawfal by dozens of years, so he was not the first to refer to prophethood. As for the Prophet’s meeting with Waraqa, it was a passing meeting due to the desire of the Mother of the Believers Khadija, may God be pleased with her, to clarify the truth of what happened in the cave. No meeting or acquaintance between the Prophet and Waraqa was proven before Khadija asked for this. All of this was during the first stage of revelation, so Waraqa informed him that the phenomenon he was experiencing was revelation and that it had no effect on the course of events because the assignment of the message occurred many years later, so it was merely a passing incident from the events of the biography

Some foolish enemies of religion imagine that Waraqa is the one who confirmed the message, and this is false. There is a difference between the stage of the beginning of revelation and the stage of the beginning of the warning and the message. The Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, remained in his state of monotheism, as proven in all the books of Sunnah and biography, after the incident of Hira and his return to Khadija, until Gabriel, peace be upon him, came to him with the verses of Al-Muddaththir, to begin the third stage, which is the stage of the message, and it was preceded by the second stage, which is the stage of the period of revelation. The revelation of the verses of Al-Alaq was not a task for the message at all, but rather was part of the stage of the beginning of revelation, so the Prophet was not tasked with anything. Perhaps we now understand the meaning of the narrations that talk about the Prophet seeing the light for seven years, then three and a half years before the revelation of the verses of Al-Alaq, from exposure to the evidence of revelation, which is the stage of the beginning of revelation, then three years of the period of revelation. Finally, I say that the phenomenon of revelation is not related to Waraqa bin Nawfal. Why? Because the Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, went through a preparation for prophethood before the beginning of revelation. He was informed that he was a prophet from the submission of the tree and the stone to him, as previously mentioned, before he went to Waraqa. Since the famous incident of splitting the chest, which was decades before the meeting with Waraqa and years after the death of Waraqa, revelation disappeared for other reasons. So where was Waraqa bin Nawfal at that time
The one who claims that revelation is linked to previous memorizations is foolish and ignorant and did not read the biography, but rather was satisfied with what he memorized from the words of the enemies of God Almighty, the priests and the irreligious. Revelation throughout the entire biography, from beginning to end, was linked to an event in the past, present or future. It reminded Muslims of the past and previous nations for admonition and teaching Muslims the importance of historical knowledge. Revelation was sometimes linked to the present, so it commanded and forbade. Among those to whom commands and prohibitions, and even reproach and warnings, were directed was the Prophet himself. Revelation was sometimes linked to the future and informed of upcoming matters, such as: ” The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, complained, so he did not stand for a night or two, so a woman came to him and said: O Muhammad, I see that your devil has left you.” Then God Almighty revealed: By the forenoon and by the night when it covers with darkness. [43] The previous trace contains an indication of one of the many signs of prophethood, which is the indication of the future in the words of God Almighty: ” And your Lord will surely give you, and you will be satisfied.” So who informed Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, of what would happen in the future? And who possessed the secrets of souls to the extent of realizing that the noble Prophet needed support after the Quraysh woman challenged the purity of the revelation? It is God, Lord of the Worlds, who sent down the Glorious Qur’an to the heart of the Trustworthy and Trustworthy One, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, to guide all of humanity to what the Lord of the Worlds wanted since He created them, which is monotheism. God, Lord of the Worlds, did not create us except for monotheism.
As for Waraqa, Waraqa, may God Almighty have mercy on him, did nothing more than tell the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, that he came with a law like the law of Moses, as if Waraqa, may God Almighty have mercy on him, was a representation of prophecy. Deuteronomy 18, which explicitly says on the tongue of the Lord to Moses: ” 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put my words in his mouth, and he will speak to them all that I command him. 19 And it will come to pass that whoever does not listen to my words that I speak in my name, I myself will require it of him. ” [44]This illiterate prophet, whom God Almighty made his speech in his mouth, because he was illiterate, is the same prophet that Waraqa bin Nawfal was waiting for, and before him Zaid bin Amr bin Nafi, and the Jewish rabbi Ibn Al-Haiban, is the illiterate, truthful, and honest Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace. Is there anyone who is wise? Until we meet, God willing, with the fourth part, “Graduation of the strange traces in the biography
