🔍 Introduction to the response to the myth of atrophied organs

For those brothers interested in a logical critique of evolution:

First: What are atrophied organs (according to evolution)?

In short:

To say that there are organs without a function because their function is unknown, then they are the result of evolutionary genetic drift,

or to say that there are organs whose function has decreased from one organism to another according to the evolutionary tree,

then they had a major function in the past, then this function decreased with time — then it is evidence of evolution.

🪫 The response in a very brief manner:

  • Regarding the first part , it is an appeal to ignorance.

Not knowing the functions of an organ does not mean that it has no function 🤦.

Rather, what is funny is that the more science advances, the more the functions of these organs are discovered, as we will see now.

  • Regarding the second part :

As usual, their words are a begging for the desired outcome and a circular reasoning,

which is like saying: “Since evolution is true, then these are atrophied organs, and their function decreased with time.”

Of course, the only logical statement is that God created these organs in several creatures to varying degrees,

each creature according to its environmental conditions and needs.

As for the claim that “chance” produced organs, and then these organs atrophied over time,

this is a foolish and ridiculous assumption.

Chance does not create a system, as is known according to custom.

Rather, what is customary is that systems must have a creator,

even if the degrees of efficiency differ between creatures due to the difference in need.

As for organs of unknown function, if there is a Creator of creatures, why would He create useless organs, as they claim?

But is this statement true?!

First of all, evolutionists assumed that there are approximately 180 useless organs .

🪫 The funny thing is that when you discuss with atheists,

you see them protesting that the more science advances, the more it proves the validity of evolution.

But the opposite is what we see.

The more science advances, the more we discover the functions of these organs.

🪫 Imagine the scandal they are in!

However, they still hold on to their opinion…

Let us now explain some of the benefits of these organs that they claimed were useless…

🧠 ★ Non-coding genes:

These are among the things that evolutionists argued were useless and a remnant of evolution,

so Richard Dawkins said: If there is a God, why would He create useless things?

But the function of non-coding genes was revealed after the ENCODE project in 2012 .

We previously wrote a full article about non-coding genes,

and here is a link with 800 research papers proving the functions of non-coding genes :

🧠 ★ The Pituitary Gland:

You can imagine, dear reader, that the pituitary gland, which is called the master gland, was said to be useless.

For example, the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland produces and releases (secretes) six main hormones:

Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) , also called corticotropin, which stimulates the adrenal glands to produce cortisol and other hormones

Functions of Junk DNA.pdf

Follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone (gonadal hormones) stimulate the testes to produce sperm, the ovaries to produce eggs, and the sex organs to produce sex hormones (testosterone and estrogen)

Growth hormone , which regulates growth and physical development (body formation, not Darwinian evolution), and has important effects on body shape by stimulating muscle formation and reducing fatty tissue

Prolactin , or milk hormone, which stimulates the mammary glands in the breasts to produce milk

Thyroid-stimulating hormone , which stimulates the thyroid gland to produce thyroid hormones

The anterior lobe also produces several other hormones, including those that cause skin pigmentation (melanocyte-stimulating hormone ), those that suppress pain sensations (enkephalins and endorphins ), and those that help control the immune system (endorphins ).

The posterior lobe of the pituitary gland produces two hormones: vasopressin and oxytocin .

  • Vasopressin (also called antidiuretic hormone) regulates the amount of water excreted by the kidneys and is therefore essential for maintaining water balance in the body.

  • Oxytocin causes the uterus to contract during childbirth and immediately after birth to prevent excessive bleeding.

Oxytocin also stimulates contractions of the milk ducts in the breast, which push milk to the nipple (let-down) in breastfeeding women.

Oxytocin has some additional roles in both men and women.

🪫 Researchers have reported that innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) are essential for protection against bacterial infections in people with weakened immune systems.

Their work shows that a network of immune cells helps the appendix play a pivotal role in maintaining digestive health,

supporting the argument that the appendix is not redundant .

Those who have their appendix removed are more prone to diarrhea.

🧠 ★ Coccygeal vertebrae:

This is one of the funny pieces of evidence that evolutionists used to argue that it is the remnants of a tail resulting from the evolution of humans from apes.

Therefore, according to them, it is useless, because it was a tail in the past and now it is — it’s useless.

🪫 But wait a minute…

The coccyx is responsible for connecting the muscles, tendons, and ligaments in the pelvic area,

Immune cells make appendix ‘silent hero’ of digestive health

Innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) are crucial for protecting against bacterial infection in people with compromised immune systems, report investigators. • The muscles that attach to the tailbone and contribute to sitting, standing, and bowel control include:

Gluteus maximus : The gluteus maximus muscle helps keep the body upright

Levator ani muscle : A thin muscle that helps support the pelvic organs

External anal sphincter : A flat muscle that helps with bowel function

Coccyx : A triangular muscle that supports the pelvic floor

Many of the lower pelvic muscles attach to the coccyx bone. These muscles form the “pelvic floor.”

When these muscles don’t function properly, bowel, bladder, and sexual problems are likely to occur.

Coccygeal luxation may even be a factor in the dysfunction of these pelvic floor muscles.

Coccygeal luxation can also disrupt bladder, bowel, and sexual functions more directly.

An important group of nerves is located just in front of the coccyx called the “Coccygeal ganglion ”;

these nerves are partially responsible for controlling the pelvic organs.

🧠 ★ Hair:

Yes, hair. Don’t laugh when I tell you that they think it’s an evolutionary relic.

In a study conducted on 14 cases of wounds, hair follicles were transplanted to study their role in wound healing.

It turned out that they play a role in building the surface layer of the skin.

In all cases, wound healing occurred after the hair follicle transplantation.

🧠 ★ Goosebumps:

Goosebumps help your body conserve heat when exposed to cold temperatures. They do this in several ways:

  • Just like larger muscles, the contraction of muscles in the skin (rectus abdominis muscle ) generates heat.

  • The elevation of hair follicles closes the skin pores.

  • Erect hairs trap a layer of air near the skin, trapping body heat.

To recap:

Muscles move involuntarily in cold temperatures to warm the body.

They are also found in animals; their contraction causes the animal’s hair to stand on end, making it appear larger and more intimidating to predators, or for defense, like a hedgehog.

The magazine Evolution that we mentioned above was not intended to prove that whale bones are essential for mating, but rather this is an established fact (as mentioned in the scientific paper) and has been known since ancient times, and I mentioned that many people imagined that these bones are useless; but this is not true, because they are important for mating.

The Bones, Articulations, and Muscles of the Rudimentary Hind-Limb …

The last part I advise you to read, which is the whale part

and funny at the same time😁

Assuming, for the sake of argument, that mutations add entirely new information, how could “blind” natural selection have endowed many organisms with extraordinary camouflage abilities? Is it rational? ★ By analogy: In a 2022 study in Nature, it was stated that mutations do not occur randomly, which undermines one of the most important foundations of Darwinian evolution;

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-021-04269-6

But do you know how they patched it up?! They said that mutations are biased towards the better, which is like a cheated dice (according to them) 🤡

Wait… Wait… Wait! If we assume that mutations are biased, does “blind” natural selection know the methods that provide camouflage methods for these organisms so that mutations are consistently biased towards creating professional camouflage methods?! And does it know the shapes that camouflage has, such as tree leaves and others, so that it can compare them to camouflage? Where did your minds go when you made this patchwork? This is the habit of evolutionists whenever they find something that contradicts their words, they create attractive terms that make you feel that they are terms of scientific origin. ★ Now if we move past this scandal, how did these creatures know that they have camouflage methods, so they do not flee immediately when a predator arrives?!! Or how were they able to employ them as happens with chameleons and other creatures that know their hiding place for camouflage?!

And how do they not flee as other creatures do, unless they were born with that?!! Or how did predatory creatures (which have camouflage) know that in specific situations they can hunt prey?! Or or or many questions on this topic have no logical answer other than that these beings were created directly and we conclude with the Almighty’s saying: Or have they attributed to God partners who created like His creation so that the creation seemed to them alike? Say, “God is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing.”
