The Worship of Mary Is Documented by Christian Sources
In refutation of the words of Allah, the Almighty, in Surat Al-Ma’idah:
And when Allah said, “O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as gods besides Allah?’ He said, ‘Glory be to You! It is not for me to say that which I have no right to. If I had said it, You knew it. You know what is in my soul, and I do not know what is in Your soul. Indeed, You are the Knower of all things.’” (116) I said to them nothing except what You commanded me, “Worship God, my Lord and your Lord.” And I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them. But when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are Witness over all things. (117) If You should punish them - indeed, they are Your servants; and if You forgive them - indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (118)
You will find the Christians saying, “We do not worship Mary, and we have not taken her as a wife.” Gods besides God, so where did the Quran get that from???
No problem, let’s test their claim from their sources:

If all of this is not deification and worship of Mary, then what is the meaning of worship and deification then???!!!

It was mentioned in a book written by a Christian entitled ” The Collected History of Verification and Verification”
that the Asmaa al-Barbarian sect participated in the First Council of Nicaea and believed that Mary was a god. The Barbarians are a different sect from the Quliridians. The differences mentioned by the Christians are that Quliridians were an Arab sect in the Arabian Peninsula and used to offer a sacrifice of cakes to Mary. Most of their followers were women and they believed that God the Father married Mary and gave birth to Christ.

Christians have continued to elevate the status of Mary (the Mother of God) above every creature, to the point that they depicted the Creator of the heavens and the earth -according to their beliefas one who is submissive to Mary! In fact, the imagination of Christians in the Middle Ages went so far as to depict God as someone who is jealous of Mary because people turn to her for worship, prayers, and supplications to fulfill their needs!
