Walls of the Kaaba in Mecca Contain Sacred Stones That Were in the Ark of the Covenant
From the Encyclopedia Biblica - Volume One - A to D - Page 307
in the explanation of the Ark of the Covenant we find the following:

The Ark of the Covenant (the Ark of the Tablets) has a great status for the Jews like the Holy Kaaba and the Black Stone for the Muslims. And we know that Allah favored them over the worlds with many things at that time such as manna, quails and the Ark. The Ark of the Covenant was not an ordinary Ark, but it was divine and from the grace of Allah upon them, the
Book of Exodus,
Chapter Twenty-Five
25:16 And you shall put in the Ark the testimony that I give you.
As for the “stone” it means the tablets (which Allah the Almighty gave to Moses) (Tablets) in Sinai. The tablets were from Allah the Almighty and were not something natural or like any ordinary stone and were not made by humans. And these tablets were written on the Ten Commandments (the tablets of the Law). This is the same thing for the Ark, it was not something ordinary, so the Jews used to take it with them to victory over the enemies and this is from the grace and favor of Allah upon them.
There are still disagreements among the rabbis about the Ark, the contents of the Ark, and where the Ark is now.
