Ibn Al Qayyim Permitted Masturbation With a Hollowed Out Watermelon

Response to the allegation: Ibn al-Qayyim permitted masturbation with a hollowed-out watermelon.
Content of the Doubt
The Shiites claim that Imam Ibn al-Qayyim issued a fatwa permitting a man to masturbate with a hollowed-out watermelon, dough, an idol, or something else… The Shiites also claim that Ibn al-Qayyim permitted a woman to fondle her vagina with a kohlrabi (an artificial penis)!!
Response to the doubt:
First: Know, my dear, that Shiism is a religion of lies and slander against its opponents…
secondly:
Ibn al-Qayyim did not permit masturbation with a hollowed-out watermelon, nor did he issue a fatwa permitting a woman to use a cabbage. However, the lying Shiites are the ones who take the man’s words out of context… So let’s look at the man’s words in full:
🔴 Ibn al-Qayyim says in his book (Bada’i’ al-Fawa’id) :
Some of our companions said: It is permissible for her to use a kohlrabi, which is something made of skin in the shape of a penis, which a woman inserts, or something similar to that, such as small gourds or pumpkins. But the correct view in my opinion is that it is not permissible, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, only instructed the one who has desire if he is unable to marry to fast. … And if he is a young boy or a foreign woman, it is disliked for him to do that, because it is a temptation for himself to do what is forbidden and an encouragement for her to do it. And if he makes a watermelon, dough, leather, or a figurine into an idol and inserts it into it, then it is based on the details we have already mentioned .
From the previous quote, we find that there are people who claimed that it is permissible for a woman to use cauliflower, but Ibn al-Qayyim responds to them and issues a fatwa that it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to fondle her vagina with cauliflower, but rather she must resort to fasting as the Messenger of God commanded us .
Then Ibn al-Qayyim continues his speech and mentions the case of some men who pierce a watermelon, dough, or an idol and then insert their penises into it for the purpose of masturbation. Here, Ibn al-Qayyim stops and tells us that the ruling on these men is the same as the detailed ruling he mentioned about the cauliflower a little while ago; that is, what these men do is not permissible, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) instructed the one who has lust to fast, and he did not tell him to pierce a watermelon and enjoy it.
🔴 It is noteworthy that Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned another phrase, which is:
[And if he is absent from her, because the act is permissible and does not make it forbidden if he imagines or fantasizes about it. But if he is a young boy or a foreign woman, it is disliked for him to do that, because it is a temptation for himself to do what is forbidden and an encouragement for her to do it . ]
In the previous quote, Imam Ibn al-Qayyim says that if a man is traveling and away from his wife, it is permissible for him to imagine her and her body, because she is his wife after all… However, if this man were to imagine the body of a foreign woman or the body of a young boy, then this is something reprehensible, because it encourages something forbidden.
Knowing that the word (makruh) according to Ibn al-Qayyim and his likes means: forbidden.
There is another statement by Ibn al-Qayyim , but the Shiites misunderstood it, as Ibn al-Qayyim said at the end of the speech:
[ It is easier than masturbating with his hand.]
The Shiites think that the previous statement allows a man to insert his penis into a perforated watermelon, because that is easier than masturbation!!
I respond to the lying Shiites and say:
This statement is not evidence that Ibn al-Qayyim permitted masturbation with a watermelon instead of the hand, as the foolish Shiites understood. The ease or difficulty of something is not a criterion for permissibility or prohibition in the first place, so let me give you an example to clarify the idea :
Adultery is easier than marriage, as marriage comes with a great responsibility. Does this mean that adultery is permissible because it is easy?
Answer: No
Intentionally breaking the fast during the day in Ramadan is much easier than fasting. Does this mean that it is permissible to intentionally break the fast during the day in Ramadan?
Answer: No
Earning money through illegal means is much easier than toiling and tiring to collect legitimate money. Does this mean that earning illicit money is permissible?!
Answer: No
So, the ease of something is not evidence of its permissibility, as the foolish Shiites understood.
