Job Attributes Bad Qualities to God
Job 16:11 God has delivered me to the oppressor, And has cast me into the hands of the wicked.
Job 16:12 I was at ease, and he shook me; He took me by the nape of the neck, And crushed me, And set me up for himself as a mark .
Job 16:13 His archers surrounded me ; He split my inward parts, And had no pity ; He poured out my gall on the ground.
Job 16:14 He has broken upon me with a broken blow ; He has attacked me like a giant .
Job 16:15 He has written sackcloth on my skin, And has hid my horn in the dust.
Job 16:16 My face is red with weeping, And the shadow of death is upon my eyelashes.
Job 16:17 Though there is no injustice in my hand, And my prayer is pure.
Job 19:6 Know therefore that God has twisted me, And has wrapped his net around me .
Job 19:7 Behold, I cry out for injustice, And I am not heard ; I call, But there is no judgment.
Job 19:8 He has hemmed in my way, that I may not pass through; And he has put darkness upon my paths .
Job 19:9 He has taken away my honor, And taken away the crown of my head.
Job 19:10 He has torn me down on every side
, So that I am gone ; And he has uprooted my hope like a tree . Job 19:11 He has kindled his anger against me, And counted me as his enemies.
Job 4:17 Is man more righteous than God? Or man purer than his Creator?
Job 4:18 Behold, he does not trust his servants, And charges folly to his angels.
Job 12:19 He leads away the priests naked, And overthrows the steadfast.
Job 12:20 He cuts off the tongues of the trustworthy, And takes away the taste of the elders.
Job 12:21 He pours reproach upon the noble, And loosens the belts of the strong.
Job 12:22 He clears the depths of darkness, And brings the shadows of death to light.
Job 12:23 He makes nations grow, then destroys them; He makes room for peoples, then destroys them .
Job 12:24 He takes away the minds of those who rule over the people of the earth, and scatters them in a pathless wilderness.
Job 12:25 They grope in darkness, where there is no light; He makes them stagger like a drunkard.
Job 24:12 People groan because of their pain, and the soul of the wounded cries out for help, but God does not pay attention to oppression.
Job 30:20 I cry to you, but you do not answer me. I rise, but you do not pay attention to me.
Job 30:21 You have turned away from me; by the strength of your hand you persecute me .
