The Doctrinal Importance of the Text

The presence of the word και, which here means (also), and the word δυο , which means (two), has important implications:

First, we ask whether they are the seventy Vatican or seventy-two according to the Sinaitic and Alexandrian texts?

And are the seventy or seventy-two, according to the different manuscripts of the same verse from the same Gospel, other than the twelve disciples and other than the disciple who followed him in Luke 9:57

( As they were going along the road, one said to him, “Lord, I will follow you wherever you go”)?

And what Exactly Did the Luke Say, and Who Changed His Words in the Manuscript Version?

The Only Wise God is Our Savior

The Doctrinal Importance of the Text

Let us ask this serious question: Who is the only wise God?

According to our number under discussion, there is no word for wise or in Greek σοφω 4680 in the three manuscripts! The sentence says μονω θεω σωτηρι ημων and we can translate it as follows (Our only God, our Savior). Here is a very important expression. Some have seen fit to separate it with the word σοφω and although it does not mean much linguistically, the expression μονω θεω , which means (one God), may exclude the one through whom this God will save from divinity. In other words, if the only God will save mankind through Jesus, this means that Jesus is not God because only one God will save mankind through Jesus. I believe the matter is now clear, and the Van Dyck translation’s use of the expression ” the only wise God , our Savior” raises doubts because the phrase “through Jesus Christ our Lord” is mentioned in the three manuscripts and other translations.

The Life translation renders it as ” to the one God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord ,” ignoring the absence of a definite article. The Good News translation is ” to the one God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord,” and the Fathers’ translation is ” to the one God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord .

” Now that this is clear, let’s rephrase the question using Jude 1:25: Who is the only God? We leave the answer to the reader! We will limit ourselves to fourteen examples in this part of the research and continue in the following parts, God willing. As we have seen, the three manuscripts are hypostases and not copies. In order to extract a book from them, we must consider them as entities under an entity. Here, the People of the Book need what is called the syncretic text, which is a process of weaving texts that includes deleting some and adding others and vice versa, whenever the necessity or need requires it. Because some people like rules in some sciences, or they believe that, they resorted to establishing these rules, which we strongly reject. For example, when someone tells me to discuss with me based on the validity of the Alexandrian text and leave the Byzantine one out, or vice versa, I say to him:

When you accuse someone of a crime and to reach the truth, do you compare the statements of all the witnesses, or do you choose a specific type of them to compare?

Also, do you know that when conducting any scientific research, there is a statistical process whose sole purpose is to exclude the personal factor and selection, which relies on averages and the selection of random numbers so that certain values are not chosen over others, because that would undermine the validity of the research results? But in the end, we can discuss each separately, and the sum of the discussion will be a critique of the spectrum of that belief, which is what we do and will do, God willing, trying to change terms that some try to make prevail, such as mere translations to altered and changed translations, and such as readings to differences , and such as manuscripts to copies (or they are supposed to be so) , and we will, God willing, change the expression (discuss with me based on the Byzantine text) to discuss with me what I believe to be a correct text, and do not discuss with me what I believe to be an altered, changed, and Arian text, i.e., heretical.
