However this book isn’t authentic

This book is just attributed to the Noble companion but its not proven its written by him

Also, the Sanad (chain of narration) of This Quote Isn’t Also Present in the Book

Jalaludin suyuti brings 5 narration of this quote

All are daif(weak)

The narrator in these chain is ” Mehran bin Abi al attar” which is considered liar by Hadith Scholars

Ibn Hajar : he had weak memory n used to make mistakes

Imam ibn hatim says : he used to make a lot of mistakes specifically when narrating from sufyan thawri rz

(Note this is the same case as he’s narrating from sufyan thawri)

Suyuti narrates in another place in his book

This one doesn’t have a chain (sanad)

In other places in suyuti book, the sanad exists

But as usual this is daif too

Because it contains another weak narrator ” Muhammad bin Marwan

Al sudii Al sagheer”
