Response to Fraud No. (30) _ Cursing in a Case of a Wife’S Adultery

2 min read 287 words

First: The forger mentioned the hadith , “A man said, ‘O Messenger of God, what do you think of a man who finds a man with his wife? Should he kill him?’ So we cursed each other in the mosque, and I was a witness.”

Second: Cursing only means that each of the two parties removes the accusation from himself, by the husband swearing that he is truthful, and the wife swearing that she did not commit adultery… no more, no less… just like that, and the matter ends there.

Third: This is the cursing that the deceiver considers a doubt in our religion and is explained by the noble verse: “And those who accuse their wives but have no witnesses except themselves - then the testimony of one of them is four testimonies by Allah that he is indeed of the truthful (6) and the fifth is that the curse of Allah is upon him if he is of the liars (7) and he will avert the punishment from her if she bears witness four times by Allah that he is indeed of the liars (8)” And the fifth : That the wrath of Allah be upon her, if he was of the truthful (9) And had it not been for the grace of Allah upon you and His mercy and that Allah is Forgiving and Wise (10) Surah An-Nur of the Holy Quran. What was mentioned in the noble verse and which was called “cursing” is the safe alternative to the companion’s suggestion to kill the adulterer as mentioned in the hadith, meaning that in this hadith what was mentioned in the aforementioned verse was implemented by cursing instead of killing and the matter ended there.
