Uthman Committed Injustices and Wrongdoings

⭕The suspicion: The skeptics claim that Dhul-Nurayn, may God be pleased with him, committed injustices and wrongdoings during his caliphate, so a revolution was launched against him and he was assassinated.
⭕Reply:
Affan is mentioned in the book “Al-Awasim min Al-Qawasim” by Imam and judge Abu Bakr Ibn Al-Arabi Al-Maliki, and he himself, may God have mercy on him, before mentioning it said: “They said it is far-fetched and based on the narration of liars,” and he said: “All of this is false in its chain of transmission and text. As for their saying ‘Uthman came with injustices and reprehensible things,’ it is false.” He also said, referring to some scholars who tried to defend the narration despite it being false: “…and scholars have apologized for that with arguments that should not be bothered with because they are based on falsehood, and truth is not built on falsehood.”

- Second: Uthman ibn Affan, may God be pleased with him, was not responsible for the revolution that occurred.
*The Simplified Arabic Encyclopedia states: “…and the reality is that Uthman was not responsible for everything that aroused the wrath of those groups against him…”

*Al-Bukhari said in “Al-Tarikh Al-Sagheer”: “Sulayman bin Harb told us, on the authority of Abu Hilal, who said: I heard Al-Hasan say: The Commander of the Faithful, Uthman bin Affan, worked for twelve years. They did not disapprove of anything of his leadership. Then some wicked people came, and by God, he was lenient with the people of Medina in his matter.”

- Third: His assassination was originally a good omen from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and this has been mentioned in several authentic hadiths:

How then can these claims be true when he had been given the good news that he would die a martyr and oppressed? And he was originally one of the ten promised Paradise?
