He is the one who delivers their souls from the Lord…
And his name is precious to them…
He is the one who sends to the Arabs and gives them sustenance…
He is the one on whom they pray all day long…
He is the one whose word goes forth and blossoms from the mountains…
He is the one who blossoms from the city…
“Prayer be upon the master of the city”
“Prayer be upon Muhammad, son of Abdullah”

[Psalm 72]
We bear witness, O God:
= That all the Arabs offered him gifts and tribute.
= And we bear witness that the Muslims overthrew the Negus.
= And we bear witness that he delivered the poor from the oppressive powers.
= And we bear witness that he delivered the whole world from injustice and usury.
= And we bear witness that his name is Muhammad, the name of the Most Noble Name.
= And we bear witness that his followers flourished in Medina.
= And that his name is blessed until the Day of Judgment.
= And we bear witness that the whole earth is filled with the glory of Ahmad.

“God will bring forth from Zion a crown of praise” (Book of Psalms). They said the crown is a symbol of kingship, and the praiseworthy one is Muhammad.

From the manuscripts uploaded online by the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate, in the margin: “Kedar is interpreted as Quraysh, the ancestor of Muhammad’s tribe.” The text reads, “Let the wilderness and its towns lift up their voice, the settlements where Kedar dwells. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing for joy; let them shout for joy from the mountaintops.” (Isaiah 42:11).

Rabbi Nathanael of Fayoum, one of the great medieval rabbis, believed in the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him), but he believed he was a prophet only for the Arabs. He frequently quoted from the Quran in his writings and referred to the Prophet (peace be upon him) as “the Righteous One,” saying, “The Righteous One said, ‘If the world were to truly rely on God, He would provide for them as He provides for the birds: they go out hungry and return full.’”

He revealed Himself to us from Mount Paran; the heavens were covered with praise, and the earth was filled with His praises. [Habakkuk 3:3] One of the manuscripts of St. Catherine’s Monastery.

[Prophecy among the Arabs and the descendants of Kedar]

The descendants of Qedar inhabited the Hijaz!

The striking similarity between this descriptive imagery and the Hijaz region is evident in
Charles Foster’s commentary on Isaiah 42. Foster was an 18th-century Anglican priest. (Link to the book

The Well of Zamzam is located in Paran. The Jewish rabbi Ibn Ezra confirms that the Well of Lahai-ri is the same as the Well of Zamzam in Mecca! (Ibn Ezra). Ibn Ezra identifies this with #Zimum (or in other versions, #Zimzum ), where the Arabs hold an annual festival. This is #Zemzem_near_Mecca . According to this, however, Hagar headed into the Arabian Peninsula rather than toward Egypt. Source:
